Pauline McCarthy Yoga, Pilates, Massage, Reflexology

Co-founder of EXHALE Pauline has practised Yoga for over 20 years and is  teaching fulltime for 10 years. She received her initial teacher training qualification from YTTC and has taken speciality courses in Yoga for pregnancy and Yoga for lower back pain. She continues to study Yoga under the guidence of Venkatesh and Paddy McGrath. She is also a qualified Pilates instructor, Massage therapist and Reflexologist. Her style is classical Hatha focusing on precision of movement to increase body awareness, strength and muscle tone. Her classes also include breathwork and relaxation which help maximise the holistic healing a Yoga class can bring. Pauline offers group and private tuition at EXHALE.
Caroline Chambers Pilates, Pre&Post Natal Pilates, Physiotherapy

Caroline Chambers is a Stott Certified Pilates Instructor and Chartered Physiotherapist. She has 14 years of experience in the sport injury, musculoskeletal and rehabilitation fields and it was through this work that she was first introduced to Pilates. She has spent the last 5 years studying Pilates in Dublin, New York and Oxford through the internationally recognised Stott Pilates school. In addition to teaching mat-based Pilates, Caroline is qualified to teach on all Pilates equipment (Reformer, Cadillac, Stability Chair and Barrels). She also teaches ante-natal and post-natal Pilates. Caroline offers group and private tuition at EXHALE.
Christie Taylor Seaver Pilates, Pre&Post Natal Pilates

Since 1995 Christie has taught ballet and movement classes to children and adults of all ages, qualifying as a Pilates mat instructor through the PhysicalMind Institute in New York/Houston in 2004. For the past five years she has taught mat classes in the US and in studios throughout Dublin, most recently completing training in pre/post-natal Pilates. She believes Pilates is the ideal way to maintain flexibility and build core strength.
 
Sinead Duffy Hatha Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Baby Massage

Sinead qualified in Vivekananda Ashram in India in 2003 and has taught in Ireland and Africa. Her style is Hatha yoga, with some yogaflow. She focuses on experiencial learning, letting the students feel how the postures can become alive with an awareness of the organic body, the breath and the lines of energy in the body.   She gives her students the knowledge and techniques to let them bring their own voice to their practice.  She has 2 babies and a passion for yoga for pregnancy.  She believes that pregnancy is the perfect time to discover yoga or to deepen your practice as the flow of hormones in the body is so strong.  Sinead also teaches baby massage which is a communication tool for parents that greatly facilitates bonding and the baby's development.  
Lesley Hughes Childrens Yoga

Lesley has been practising yoga for several years. She studied with Calm For Kids in London qualifying her to teach children’s yoga. Lesley has been working with children of all ages for 13 years and has several qualifications in this area. She has found that yoga for children can help increase their concentration and self esteem. Lesley teaches child specific yoga through drama, stories, role-play, music, art, discussion, group work, visualization and relaxation. Lesley is currently continueing her Yoga studies  with Yoga Therapy Ireland.

 

Alice Carroll Yoga

Alice began her yoga journey approx 11 years ago and found it gave her a sense of wellness both physically and mentally. She studied Sivananda, Astanga and Hatha Flow with Marianne Jacuzzi in Monkstown. In Oct 2007 she embarked on a yoga teacher training with Lisa Wilkinson, Veronica Larsson & Debbie Corradino graduating in Aug 2008.
She continues to attend regular workshops for her own learning and progression. She has studied Yoga with Matthew Sweeney, Arlene Jennering, James Higgins, Betsey Downing, John Friend and Dharma Mittra.
Her Hatha based classes are fluid, progressive and intuitive with emphasis on breathwork. She believes that final relaxation is vitally important as a means of integrating all thats happened in the class and ensuring the student leaves the class in a relaxed state of body and mind. 

 

Anthea Grimason Ashtanga Yoga

Anthea has been a dedicated student of Ashtanga yoga, practising and studying in Ireland, India and Thailand since 2007. With a deep interest in its philosophy, yoga has become a way of life for Anthea. She has developed a passion for teaching since becoming a certified Yoga Alliance teacher in 2010. Her focus is on teaching beginners to yoga, based on the traditional Ashtanga practice. She also works with corporate employees on breath and relaxation techniques to relieve stress, and is a practising Reiki Master.
