| Yoga for Pregnancy |
|
Pregnancy is the perfect occasion to
come to yoga for the first time. The functioning of the brain changes
during pregnancy (baby brain!) and the flow of hormones is strong.
These changes can be harnessed in yoga to make the pregnancy a deeply
transformative experience. The movements are gentle but effective and it
is common for a woman practicing yoga to avoid all of the usual
discomforts of pregnancy. If you are
someone who says 'yoga is not for me' - give it a go during pregnancy.
At the very least you will allay backache, heartburn and swollen joints,
as well as training the specific muscles you will need for childbirth. You
WILL find your body responding, relaxing very deeply and this will be
invaluable for you and your baby. Come
anytime after week 15.

similar to those found in Hatha Yoga but are linked together with dynamic
jumping movements making it a more demanding workout. |
| Yoga
Pilates Fusion |
| This is a mix of
Yoga and Pilates. It includes postures from both disciplines to increase
overall flexibility and to tone, flatten and strenghten the abdominal
muscles while also keeping the mind body connection used to help destress
and relax the body.
|
| Stress Management |
| All
forms of Yoga are beneficial for stress management and in each of the
classes at the studio, relaxation techniques will be taught, enabling the
